Back by popular demand! Complete with the cream cakes of torment at the back of the room, slightly offensive advertising and a whole load of attitude and fun!

I think I can safely assume that by now you already know what you need to know about exercise, eating the right foods, calorie counting, slimming groups and clubs and so forth, but for some reason it still doesn't work for you. You are still fat and hating it...

This workshop is for both therapists and non-therapists wishing to know more about the inner game of weight loss and successful slimming. This is not about diets or exercise, but is rather about the "head stuff" that blocks so many people from achieving their outcome.

"Andy Austin is a true pioneer... having trained with countless supposed ‘experts’ I can quite happily state Andy is one of the greatest minds I have ever had the good fortune to meet and learn from. His depth of understanding of the human mind, psychological conditions, the role of the therapist and the nature of the client is… ASTONISHING! I thoroughly recommend any therapist who is serious about therapy to train with Andy." Michael Christon, internationally licensed NLP trainer and coach

"I’ve just attended a one-day One Day Weight Loss Workshop with Andy Austin. What fun! His direct and humorous style of communication had me totally absorbed. The course was insightful, informative and very, very useful. The timing couldn’t have been better as my first Sounds Positive Weight Loss Group Workshop starts this week in Henley on Thames. As a result of what I learned I’ve restructured my workshop content to include the material Andy gave us. I couldn’t recommend this course more highly." Lysette Offley

"What a great day all the information was easily digested with the humorous support of Andrew. The information is so practical that one can use the methods immediately for their own personal use or with clients. Andrew's stories and experiences will be something I'll remember for a long time. I’m looking for to attending his other workshops/courses." Geraldine Paynter

Who should attend:

  • Hypnotherapists and NLP practitioners
  • Clinicians who wish to assist clients with change
  • Individuals who have failed with conventional diet plans and slimming clubs

Some of the issues addressed on this training:

  • Emotional eating - comfort eating, depression and eating behaviours
  • "But I've always been big boned!"
  • I know what I should eat, but I can't help myself."
  • The influence of guilt and shame upon over eating.
  • The endless cycle of the yo-yo dieter.
  • The strategy of the anorexic and bulimic eater.
  • "I hate exercise." (So does the trainer!)
  • "I hate my body."
  • "I always appear so happy on the outside, but on the inside I am not."

To be clear: this is not a workshop about diets. You need to see a dietitian for that. This is not a workshop about exercise either. Your local gym instructor will help you with that.

Is this workshop going to make you thin? Unlikely, but it might just increase your chances!

Bringing with him a clinical background in neurology and neurosciences,  Andrew T. Austin will be covering many of the practical aspects of change work so often overlooked by NLP practitioners and trainers, therapists and change workers in the personal development field.

"I have known Andrew T Austin by reputation for over a decade and in person since 2004. He is one of a very few people who have the crucial combination of an excellent manner and genuine skills that produces real lasting change for clients. In an era where virtually every person involved in change work and therapy is described as “a genius” it’s rare to find someone who genuinely pushes the boundaries in the field of Changework. His solid clinical background ensures that those clients lucky enough to see him are always in the best possible hands." Nick Kemp, Creator Of Provocative Change Works™, Provocative Therapy Trainer

"Andy Austin is an intelligent and entertaining trainer. He demonstrates high standards regarding working with clients and more importantly, he trains you to become aware of yourself as the clinician/coach in all types of situations. His material is very useful for individuals who want to increase their therapeutic skills. He cleverly leads students to find the answers within and then offers new ideas to challenge their learning even more. I have enjoyed my experiences learning from Andy and I recommend him as a trainer." Rachel Hott, Ph.D. Co-director The NLP Center of New York
